Ross Dyer-Smith
Primary qualifications: MBChB MRCS MRCGP FFCI PGCert (Digital Health)
Ross qualified from the University of Sheffield Medical School and trained in surgical specialities in Hull until 2010 before embarking on GP training. He did his GP training in Derbyshire, becoming a partner of the Hurley in 2016, and is the Lead GP at Liberty Bridge Road practice, the former Olympic Medical Centre in Stratford.
Ross is a former Darzi Fellow and has been involved in leadership programmes ever since, including supervising his own Darzi Fellow. He has previously been a federation director and IT Lead. His specialist area is digital health and online consulting, becoming graduate of the first cohort of the NHS Digital Academy. He is also Fellow of the Faculty of Clinical Informatics and the Caldicot Guardian of Hurley Group. Ross created the concept of the “eHub”, a centralised online consultation and workflow service operating at scale across the Hurley Group, utilising eConsult. This is now being replicated in sites nationally.
