Urgent Care Centre Nurse Practitioner
Salary: From £42,000 to £48,480 per annum (Depending on skills and experience)
Full or Part-Time hours available, 37.5 hours per week over seven days
The Hurley Group is looking for Emergency Nurse Practitioners / Nurse Practitioners to join our Urgent Care Centre based at Queen Mary Sidcup
You will work within the team of experienced ENP / NP’s to deliver an excellent Urgent Care Service on a shift basis covering the service from 8am – 12pm daily, 365 days a year.
- You will be a qualified and experienced autonomous ENP / NP competent in assessment, examination, diagnosis and treatment of patients, with minor injury and illness, including x-ray interpretation, suturing, plastering and wound management.
- Independent prescribing is an advantage but not essential.
Nurses employed within the unit will benefit from the support of being part of a larger organisation, the Hurley Group, and will have the opportunity to interact with other Emergency Nurse Practitioners working on other sites. Urgent Care Assessment & Treatment Nurse
Salary circa 37.700 – 40.800 inc. pro rata depending on skills and experience.
Are you an experienced Emergency Department Nurse, committed to providing high quality evidence based care? We are recruiting to the Urgent Care Centre at Queen Mary’s (QMS) and Erith Hospital in Bexley.
You will have come from a background of Emergency Department Nursing, with at least 3 years experience in this environment working with both adults and children. Ideally you will have completed some minor illness or injury training. You will need to have experience in triaging and working at pace in a busy environment.
The Urgent Care Centre at QMS and Erith was formally established in 2014, and deals with the initial assessment of all ambulatory adult cases arriving at the Emergency Department. It is staffed by a multidisciplinary team comprising General Practitioners, Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants and Health Care Assistants. QMS is open 24 hours every day and Erith is open 08.00hrs-22.00hrs everyday.
Professional development is both supported and encouraged and there will also be an opportunity to gain experience in the care of minor injuries under the guidance and mentorship of experienced Nurse Practitioners.
