Ross qualified from the University of Sheffield Medical School and trained in surgical specialities in Hull until 2010 before embarking on GP training. He did his GP training in Derbyshire and was the lead GP at Riverside Medical Centre before becoming a partner. He is a former Darzi Fellow and has been involved in leadership programmes ever since including supervising his own Darzi Fellow. He has been a director of one of the new Lambeth GP federations and has been the IT lead for the Prime Ministers Challenge Fund in Lambeth. His main interests are in minor surgery and online services for patients.
Outside of work he distracts himself by fly fishing for trout.
